.The book I am currently reading is called Snakehead by Anthony Horowitz. This book is about a teenage spy working for MI6 named Alex Rider is on another case and this one is turning out to be one of his most difficult yet. So far in the book the terrorist group Scorpia has been reintroduced into the book ! That shows me that this book has promise for the book that had Scorpia as the main theme was amazing. Also a new head of Scorpia has been introduced named Zeljan Kurst is put into play and that always stirs the pot in these books because you do not know what he is going to be like or what ruthlessness he has brought to the organization that wasn't present before when Julia Rothman was in charge.

.This book has caught my interest as a reader because of its diverse cast of characters you have your evil doers, Scorpia, but also your radiant protagonist in Alex Rider and MI6. Also the fact that Scorpia has such an inter twining with Alex's life story and have shaped the type of character he has become. Another topic between the two is Alex from here on is going to be associated with a Scorpia stopper and if the other books have different evils I know it will be based on them but have Scorpia involved in the proceedings and that finally allows the series to have one constant besides a main character and the fact that MI6 has a role along with the characters it contributes such as Mrs.Jones and Alan Blunt.

.I think that a theme that describes this book the most is perseverance these topics apply because Alex has to work with MI6 and his other colleagues  as well as power through all the challenges thrown at him by his enemy especially Scorpia. These are not the only reasons there are many more I'm sure like even Scorpia selecting a new leader is a way of showing perseverance by not letting a set back put them out of business they move on and get a new project.

.Alex Rider is of course my favorite character for he is the main character and brings so much more to the table than other characters and has a more lively personality being so intuitive and resourceful escaping at the last second and having depth to his character. By having depth I mean he has an extra few layers to him than the other characters such as never meeting his father but knowing he was killed by the people who he works and still being able to do the right thing. Also because his uncle was killed and he was alone again and he had no next of kin all he had was Jack Starbright his nanny. Also he wiser beyond his years knowing how the system works and being fooled by the politics and the controversial nature of his business and his ability to stun but not kill in the whole series I don't think he has ever killed someone with his gun or his handed but has done damage and knockout many.

.My least favorite character so far is the main villain Zeljan Kurst who is the new head of the terrorist group Scorpia. Some reasons I don't like his character is he is a menacing character who has no Morales he is a cold hard killer and you know because of the organization of which he is the head of Scorpia is he most ruthless major terrorist group in the entire world and has tried to killed 10s of thousands of children in an earlier book just for a paycheck! The type of person he is is one of which I am not fond of and that is why he is my least favorite character.

6. I predict that Alex and Scorpia's path will somehow become more inter twined with each other that ever before except this encounter will not be a one of recruiting it will be one of fatal implications. This is a great book and I think I have a lot of in store for me with surprises and twists and new interesting characters and that fills me with joy and makes me want to read this book and finish the series.
