1) The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is all about adventure. In the end there are only three people left  in the hunger games, Katniss, Peeta, and Cato. Katniss and Peeta are working together after they here the announcment that they can work together with someone who is from the same district. Cato despises them both and wants to win despretley.  He wants to hunt them down and win the games so that he will be rich and famous in his district, District 2. The odds are against Katniss and Petea because Cato has been training for the hunger games fir his entire life and Katniss and Peeta just got unlucky and had their name picked. When the Gamemakers send out the dogs to kill off one of the competetors Cato, Katniss, and Peeta all run to the cornacopia with the dogs right behind them. They all climb up to the top not knowing that the dogs will be able to climb it. As more dogs are aproaching Cato gets thrown off the cornacopiaand onto the ground with the dogs. Katniss and Peeta wait for the cannon to fire hoping that hey have just won the hunger games.

2) I loved the book The Hunger Games it is so intriguing and exciting. I read this book in two days because i never wanted to put it down. I like how all the characters have their own personalitys that really come to play in the book. The polt of this book is so well written its impossible to stop reading. By the end of the book you feel like you really know the characters. This author pulled me in because everything is so unpredictable.

3) I think that the theme of this book is sacrafice. This is shown many times throughtout the book. Katniss sacrifes herself for Prim. She sacrafices for Prim when her name is called at the reaping.  She also sacrafices herself Peeta, when she goes to get the medicine for him and could have died.

4) My favoriye character is Katniss. This is because she is so adventurous and strong. She might not always be fearless but she always overcomes her fears somehow. Katniss is so unique and coregeous throught this book.

5) My least favorite character is Effie. She is the hostess for the tribute of district 12. She is from and has so much money doesn't care at all that all of district 12 is starving and poor. She is so selfish an only cares about herself.

6) The ending was not what I was expecting. I wasn't expecting Katniss and Peeta to win, obviously I wanted them to win but I thought that Cato's strength would overpower them in the end. I also thought That no one was going to win because I thought both Katniss and Peeta woud die. I am glad that my predictions were not the case and that Katniss and Peeta won.
